Chicken Drumsticks with Homemade Dip Duo

Ingredients
Tzatziki dip:
3/4 cucumber
1 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, peeled
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cups plain Greek yogurt
Hummus dip:
1 can chickpeas
1/4 cup peanut butter or tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 garlic clove
2 tbs olive oil
Method
Busy day? Balance it out with crispy Dewfresh Chicken Drumsticks and two healthy homemade dips: tzatziki and hummus.
Tzatziki dip:
- Use a grater to manually grate the cucumber.
- Toss the grated cucumber with 1/2 tsp salt.
- Spoon the grated cucumber into a cheese cloth or a double thickness napkin and squeeze dry, removing a lot of the liquid.
- In one large mixing bowl, place the garlic with remaining 1/2 tsp salt, white vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil. Mix to combine.
- Add the grated cucumber to the bowl with the garlic mixture, and stir in the yogurt.
- Cover and refrigerate for around 30 minutes up to a couple hours before serving. This will help thicken the mixture and give it the best texture, while allowing the flavours to meld.
Hummus dip:
- Simply process all ingredients and serve!
